A Song!

Sometimes in the afternoon I can get the girls to nap or stay super quiet. Then I try to steal an hour nap, if I'm lucky. Today was a busy day and that nap sure would have been nice! So I hopped in my bed hoping for that nap to come. But I wouldn't. Not with a song looping through my thoughts.

"Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. A circle is round it had no end, that's how long I want to be your friend." And that my friends it one of the songs the girls sing while at Daisy Scouts. My Blake is a Daisy and today was their inauguration...that's what i've been calling it, just a cute little pinning ceremony. It was fun seeing her with her friends, Grace and Ashlyn are her absolute favorite people to be around.

So here's my girl. Getting her pin. Her troop, she has her head on Grace's shoulder in the back row to the left. And my Reese, chocolate faced- upside down shades-TV tranced face!
