Played outside in the sprinklers w/ Grandma Morris. It looks overcast but it was really warm and fun!

Summer Road Trip Pictures so far!

Finally made it to Alpine around midnight after taking silly pictures for 2 hours with Kale while driving so that I could stay awake!
Good friends the Bulkleys came up to Alpine for a fun hike! That's Reese, Becca, Blake, Logan, and Maggie.
Spent Independence Day with family at Cousin Larkie's home. Thats the brood of kids. Caden, Jordan, Becca, Mali Sue, Ami Lark, Reese, Ian, Blake holding Layne on the ladder.
We made it to Mt Rusmore! Reese was slightly grouchy in this picture. But it was fantastic!
We picked up some critters on our drive. Gross, huh! Oh and some other creatures that we picked up.....while in MN we noticed that Blake had lice. I know I know....its growwwwssss. But all is well. We're "clean and clear and under control!"

A Letter to an Old Friend....

Dear BarKeeper's Friend,

It has been so long and I have missed the times we have spent together polishing my kitchen sink. I had a super messy stove-top that needed serious attention. After spending nearly 20 minutes scrubbing and scrubbing that first burner I thought my night would escape me and I would be cleaning for hours just on my stove top. I am so sorry I doubted your ability. I admit I was nervous at first, no one wants scratches all over their stove-top. Well, I put you to work by making a bit of a paste and using a non-scratching scrub pad and wouldn't you know it....but with very little effort the mess came off. Just like that I cut my stove top cleaning time in half! Thank you so VERY much BarKeeper's Friend. I will tell all my friend far and wide that we have an amazing relationship of trust and happiness.

Love Shay

I've been doing a lot of baking and selling my stuff. My awesome mother-in-law made the cute labels.
So the selling has been done with the girls. They have been my excuse to have a bake stand selling my stuff. I've made banana bread, caramels, tri-level browies, blonde brownies, mint brownies, 5-layer brownies, banana cake with caramel frosting.

Feet

My Reese has a sensory thing....with her FEET. My sister-in-law, Jamie, helped me to notice that her touching me, her sisters, stepping on books, wanting her feet to hold her fork...you get the idea. Well, here is evidence of her exploring her world with her feet:

Yes that's a tray of my delicious caramels, and YES that is her foot print in it.
Sheesh!
